The 7750 has been in production since 1974 and sits inside a long list of watches costing several times what this one does. Twenty-five jewels, a ball-bearing rotor, unidirectional winding, 28,800 vibrations per hour, and a power reserve of roughly 44 hours. It is not a movement anyone needs to apologise for.
What is unusual is the case. Eleven millimetres for an automatic chronograph is genuinely slim, and it took a fully polished stainless steel case built specifically for these proportions.
